      On August 15th, the Confucian Humanism and the Third International Youth Confucian Forum, sponsored by Nishan World Confucian Center, organized by Mencius Research Institute, China Mencius Society and people's government of Zoucheng city, was unveiled at Zoucheng city, Mencius's hometown.
     Chen Lai, dean of the Traditional Chinese Studies Institute of Tsinghua University, director of the academic committee of Nishan World Confucian Center and specially employed Confucian master of Mencius Research Institute, attended the forum and presided over the keynote speech. Wang Zhimin, Guo Chengyan, Dong Bo,and Yuan Yibin, officials of various levels, attended the forum and extened speeches respectively. Chen Xiaoxia, secretary of the Party Committee and dean of Mencius Research Institute, presided over the opening ceremony.
     The theme of this forum is "the Confucian Confucianism". It will last for two days, during which nearly 40 experts and scholars both at home and abroad will explore and discuss many topics including the Confucian humanism, the outlook of the relationship bt the world and humanity, view of heart and mind, Mencius' thought, the development of study on Mencius, the school of Zisi and Mencius and so on.
