On November 4, the Delegation led by H. E. Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Shaikho from the Kingdom of Bahrain, visited the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) and held talks with Prof. Ma Jianfei, Director-General of CLEC, on strengthening cooperation in Chinese language teaching between China and Bahrain.

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the pilot program of Chinese language teaching in Bahrain middle schools and the signing of a cooperation agreement in Chinese language teaching, between the education departments of the two countries. They agreed that the cooperation in Chinese language teaching between China and Bahrain will further advance people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two sides and deepen traditional friendship. CLEC will work closely with the Bahraini embassy in China to jointly promote the development of Chinese language teaching in Bahrain, offering more opportunities for more Bahraini students to learn Chinese, take Chinese proficiency tests, and study in China.
