The Dialogue between Chinese and Foreign Scholars and Study

     On July 11th, the Dialogue between Chinese and Foreign Scholars and Study Class of Taishan Scholars, sponsored by Nishan World Confucian Center, was held in Jinan. This event is an important part of the plan to foster young sinologists by the center. Nearly 20 young scholars from Britain, Iran, Ukraine and China took part in this activity.
     The schoars expressed their views in thier own study field, and agreed that mutual knowledge and exchange constitute the precondition of dialogue among civilizations, and only by dealing with the discrepancy among various civilizations with inclusive and open mentaltiy can we find the common ground of different civilizations. Young sinologists are the main force of inter-civilization exchange, therefore, we must intensify our efforts in fostering young sinologists in order to make the world know China better and make Chinese civilization bring more benefit to world people.
