On May 15th, upon the arrival of the 29th International Day of Families, the Seminar on the Cultivation of Good Family Traditions in the New Era in Entrepreneur Families was held in Jinan, which was jointly organized by the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies (Secretariat of the China Confucius Foundation), China Enterprise News Group and China Association for Small & Medium Commercial Enterprises.

　　At the seminar, more than 20 experts, scholars and entrepreneurs shared their understanding and thoughts and discussed future cooperation regarding the theme of "Inheriting the Good Chinese Family Traditions and Leading a Better Life". The participants reached a consensus that it is necessary to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on family traditions and family values, keep adapting the basic tenets of Marxism to China’s specific realities and its fine traditional culture and promoting creative cultural transformation and development, and pay more attention to the cultivation of good family traditions and values in the new era especially in entrepreneur families. It is a glorious mission with great responsibility. Family is the basic cell of the society, and good family traditions are the foundation of good social climate. The sentiment of taking care of the family and the country is the essence and core of the cultivation of good family traditions of contemporary entrepreneurs. It is necessary to build the corporate mission, vision and core values with the trend of the times, so as to better facilitate the building of entrepreneur's family traditions. The seminar aimed at absorbing the essence of the family traditions of entrepreneurs from ancient times to the present day, actively exploring new ideas, new models and new methods of cultivating family traditions of modern entrepreneurs, and building a platform and path for the two-way empowerment of Chinese culture and Chinese enterprises. It also contributes to the effective promotion of the integration of theory and practice, culture and industry, public welfare and commerce, as well as the continuous social and economical development.
