"The Chinese character '漆(Qī)' consists of '木(Mù)' and '氵(sān diǎn shuǐ)', and it was through this Chinese character that I began to understand Chinese lacquer craftsmanship." French lacquer artist CAZENEUVE Vincent said. Fourteen years ago, CAZENEUVE Vincent came to China with his deep love for lacquer art and began his journey to learn Chinese language and culture.
Today we hold the program: The Innovative Artists of Lacquer Craft, the third episode of "YOUTH LINK-online talks with global young leaders". Three guests will guide Chinese language learners around the world to know more about the learning, innovation, and inheritance of the lacquer craft in Chinese, English and French. "YOUTH LINK-online talks with global young leaders" is a talk show video with global young elites as the story tellers, produced by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) and co-produced by SWJTU and Chengdu Radio & Television (CDRTV). This program aims to see China through the eyes of the young home and abroad and provide quality resources of cultural exchange for all the young learners all over the world with "talk show video + online Chinese course packs".
The "online Chinese course packs" includes the following sectors, video introduction, pre-course warm-up, post-course practice, discussion zone, and review of previous sessions. The learners will learn Chinese vocabulary, sentence patterns, expressions on the themes, grasp the communication strategies from the dialogue and improve their Chinese language levels. Meanwhile, they will learn more about the cultural knowledge behind the theme, deepening their understanding of Chinese culture and the development of contemporary China.

The talk show videos, and course packs will be released simultaneously on the websites of CLEC, SWJTU, and Chinese Plus, and can be shared as teaching resources by overseas Chinese language schools and institutions.
