The first book in the cultural series of "China's Stories Told by Foreigners", a bilingual script China Stories on Stage, jointly created by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education, New Channel International Education Group Limited and Sinolingua, was officially published.

This book contains 18 classic Chinese stories which are drawn from household Chinese myths and legends, historical allusions, and literary masterpieces.

The essence of traditional Chinese culture contained in these stories, naturally and gradually improves international Chinese language learners' Chinese language skills and deepens their understanding of Chinese culture while immersing themselves in the characters from these stories, which is another important exploration of promoting telling China's story in the field of international Chinese language education.

The publication of this book also marks the official launch of the cultural series of "China's Stories Told by Foreigners" created by CLEC.
