January 10th marked the China national pavilion day during the Expo Dubai 2020. Opening performances and World Cheongsam Spring Festival Gala organized by Shenzhen kicked off one after another, showing oriental beauty on an international stage and demonstrating colorful traditional Chinese culture through art. 

　　As part of the cultural activities on the China national pavilion day, the Expo Dubai 2020 World Cheongsam Spring Festival Gala was put on at the central square of the expo. Performers of the event were participants of the 31 Miss Model of the World International Grand Final Contest. Featuring elements in spring, summer, autumn and winter, the event showed the charm of various styles of Cheongsam through changes of seasons. 

　　Cheongsam is not only a costume, but also carries the traditional Chinese culture and the Chinese aesthetic spirit, said Anna, organizer of the gala and chairwoman of the organizing committee of Miss Model of the World Contest. She also hoped to promote the fashion industry and cultural soft power of Shenzhen and China through the expo so that the world can see the charm of traditional Chinese culture and demonstrate the new outlook of Shenzhen as a window of China’s reform and opening up. 

　　On the same evening, the China national pavilion also put on cultural performances, light show and other activities.
