On October 21st, 2018, the opening ceremony of “the Teaching Center of Central Institute of Socialism” was Held at Confucius Research Institute. Over 150 people including the deputy minister of the United Front Work Department of C.P.C. Central Committee Zhang Baiqing, the member of the Party Committee and academic dean of Central Institute of Socialism Li Daoxiang, the vice minister of the Central Propaganda Department of Democratic Progressive Party Mao Mengxi, the member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People’s Congress and vice director of Shandong Provincial Democratic Progressive Party Committee Guo Yongjun, the member of the Standing Committee of Jining Municipal Party Committee and director of Jining Municipal United Front Work Department Bai Shan and leaders from the United Front Work Department of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Democratic Progressive Party of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, Jining Municipal Party Committee and Qufu Muncipal Party Committee, some expert and professor representatives of Qufu Teaching Center of Central Institute of Socialism and the guiding teachers and trainees of the training class of Xinjiang Young and Middle-age patriotic religious figures took part in the ceremony. Dean of Confucius Research Institute Yang Chaoming, the vice secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean of Confucius Research Institute Mi Huaiyong, deputy dean Liu Xubing attended the activity.
Guo Yongjun presided over the ceremony, Li Daoxiang, Maomengxi and Yang Chaoming gave speeches respectively, Zhang Baiqing and Bai Shan unveiled the nameplate of the teaching center.
After the opening ceremony, the participants visited Confucius Research Institute, inspected the Great Confucius exhibition and experienced Chinese excellent traditional culture in daily life at the Confucius Institutes Headquarter Experience Center.
