Kongzi New Sinology Plan Doctor Forum Was Held at Confucius

     On the morning of September 27th, 2018, Kongzi New Sinology Plan Doctor Forum sponsored by Hanban and Confucius Research Institute was held at Roundtable office of Confucius Research Institute. Dean of Confucius Research Institute, vice secretary of the Party Committee and deputy dean of Confucius Research Institute Mi Huaiyong attended the activity, which was presided over by deputy dean Liu Xubing. 23 young doctors from 12 countries including Turkey, Vietnam, Russia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, Holand, Cameroon, Malaysia, Romania and Spain, and 8 universities including Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Nanjing University, Xiamen University, Fudan University and Wuhan University took part in the activity.
     Yang Chaoming gave speech during the opening ceremony.
     After the opening ceremony, the doctors discussed the value of Confucian culture in contemporary world with their own professional and cultural background.
     After the forum, the doctors visited Confucius Institute Headquarters Experience Center, attended the “invitation exhibiton of national master painters and calligraphors on 100 sentences from Kong Zi Jia Yu”, visited the Confucian Mansion and the Confucian Temple and listened to the lecture of “both common and saint——Confucius and his Confucian cultural spirit” given by associate researcher Lu Zequan.
     This activity lasted for 4 days.
