     On September 19th, 2018, South Korean Branch of Overseas Confucianism Research and Spread Center of Confucius Research Institute was set up in Andong, South Korea. Nishan Scholar of Jining city, director of Overseas Confucianism Research and Spread Center of Confucius Research Institute, Professor Li Runhe presided over the opening ceremony. Dean of Confucius Research Institute Researcher Yang Chaoming and mayor of Andong city Quan Shining gave speeches respectively. Nearly 100 people including Nishan Scholar of Jining city and specially invited scholar of Confucius Research Institute Professor Wang Junlin, Nishan Scholar of Jining city and deputy of Overseas Confucianism Research and Spread Center of Confucius Research Institute Associate Researcher Lu Zequan, and public figures from Renmin University of China, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shandong Normal University, Qufu Normal University, Andong National Unviersity, and Gyeongsangbuk-do branch of Sungkyunkwan University took part in the ceremony.
