Fifth Confucius Classroom in Brazil Inaugurated

     On August 28th, the unveiling ceremony of Confucius Classroom at the Federal Fluminense University in Brazil was held in Niteroi, Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Li Yang, Chinese Consul General in Rio de Janeiro, leaders of the Federal Fluminense University, Chinese and foreign directors of Confucius Classroom at the Federal Fluminense University and others attended the ceremony.

     The Confucius Classroom at the Federal Fluminense University is the fifth Confucius Classroom in Brazil, which is jointly organized by Federal Fluminense University and Hebei Normal University. Qiao Jianzhen, Chinese Director of Confucius Classroom at the Federal Fluminense University said that this is the only Confucius Classroom inaugurated independently in a Brazilian university and has explored a new path for the cooperation between universities of China and Brazil.
