Yang Chaoming Took Part in the 13th Lu Ban Culture Festival

From June 14th to 20th, 2018, the 13th Lu Ban Culture Festival was grandly held at Lu Ban’s hometown Qufu city of Shandong province. The head of Confucius Research Institute Yang Chaoming attended the opening ceremony and presided over the symposium of “craftsmanship spirit lecture”.

The purpose of Lu Ban Culture Festival was “carrying forward craftsmanship spirit, spreading Lu Ban Culture, visiting the oriental sacred city for study, serving for innovative development”, during the culture ceremony, the premiere of Gong Sheng Qian Qiu and Ban Men Kai Mo and such events as the exhibiton of the national intangible cultural heritage the Legend of Lu Ban and Relying on Lu Ban Culture, Carrying forward Craftsmanship Spirit. As the principal host, Yang Chaoming presided over the “craftsmanship spirit lecture” and gave splendid comments.

In recent years, Confucius Research Institute was based on Qufu, gave full play to its own advantage, carried out deep study on and explored the value of Duke Zhou culture, Nishan culture and academy culture, promoted the development of “the demonstration zone of Qufu culture construction”.
