Recently, the Series of the Popular Readers on Confucian Culture presided over by Researcher Kong Xiang’an (published by Qingdao Publishing House) was evaluated as Second-level Prize Excellent Book by the 30th National City Publishing House.

The book series was published by Qingdao Publishing House in December, 2016, elucidated the essence, internal connotation and cultural value of Confucianism with the expounding approach of applying the ancient to the modern and a lot of examples in lucid words, aiming at the staff of government department, teachers and students of secondary schools and primary schools and the great masses.

The book series was divided into four volumes, among which, the Confucian Culture and Self-Cultivation of the Civil Servant was co-written by associate researcher Song Dongmei and assistant researcher Zhou Jian, the Confucian Culture and Juveniles was co-written by assistant researchers Kong Li and Liu Wenjian, the Confucian Culture and Business Administration was co-written by assistant researchers Liu Xiaoxia and Song Zhenzhong, the Confucian Culture and Rural Civilization was co-written by assistant researchers Wu Ning and Li Cui. China Confucius Foundation provided great support for the publication of the book series.
