Nishan Scholar Lu Zequan and His Delegate Went to South Kore

     From October 23rd to 28th, 2017, Nishan Scholar of Confucius Research Institute and Associate Researcher Lu Zequan, together with the member of his work group and assistant researcher Wu Ning, went to South Korea for academic exchange and cultural inspection, by the invitation of Nishan Scholar of Confucius Research Institute and professor of Andong National University Li Runhe.
     They took part in a graduate student paper seminar, held a Chunqiu forum and a seminar of Confucianism Localization. At the paper seminar, Lu Zequan discussed Wang Fuzhi’s Legalism, the relationship among China, Japan and South Korean in Silla Period. At Chunqiu Forum, Lu Zequan gave the lecture of On the Transformation of the Outskirt Sacrifice Ceremony in Tang and Song Dynasties, and discussed the issues such as the theory of Tang and Song dynasties reform, the change and continuation of Tang and Song ritual system, the relationship between the ritual system of North Song dynasty and that of South Song dynasty and so on with the scholars. At the academic seminar, Lu Zequan and Wu Ning shared the difference and similarity of the Confucian culture at Qufu and Andong, and aired their views on the popularization of Confucianism around the world.
     In cultural inspection, they surveyed Pingshan Academy, Taoshan Academy and Shaoxiu Academy.
     Through this academic exchange and cultural inspection, they not only knew the Confucian studies achievements in South Korea, enhanced the link with the academic circle of South Korea, but also experienced the feature of the academy feature in Andong district and Rongzhou district.
